Out with the old, in with the OEM..wtf???
So as some of you are already aware, I played mario kart with my Fit and got hit by a red turtle shell that cracked my Siebon Cf Lip. Today I took off the lip and double sided tape that was holding it firmly against my front bumper and when I took it off, it completely fell in 2 pieces..check pix below:
I painted my new OEM lip this morning (thx to my wife who bought me one for Father's Day) and it will be on the car shortly this afternoon.
I know its supposed to go on the body line of the front bumper but I was playing with it a lil and it looks like it can go under the body line a lil which would set the lip off better...what do you guys think?

***UPDATE***
So I decided to put it on the body line to prevent gaps on the ends. As my luck would have it, the lip slipped while applying the double sided tape from the lip to the bumper and due to limited supply of my double sided tape, I just said fuck it and rock it. There is a 1/16th of an inch of gap on the ends so I filled the space with some spare urethane and drilled two holes and screwed it in. Came out pretty decent...

"murdered out" was the blackout stage. when you would blackout everything, not just "smoked tails", but dark black tails, the headlights, any sidemarker lights, etc. some went with black wheels, anything that could become black did.
