Texas Fit Meet Vol. 7 Pic Thread!!!

Here are a few pictures from Saturday's MSR Houston meet, the pics below are courtesy of BlueCell.

First up, karting at MSR!

After that, we hit up the beach to soak up some rays...

Headed to a local restaurant to nom on some delicious food.

Then had a little night shoot.

More pictures from BlueCell's set can be found at the link below.

^^ Indeed, it really was a blast to be able to hang out with everyone and experience new things that day. Lapping the kart track was actually good fun and a nice little work out (had to tense up my back to keep from falling out the kart LOL) by the time the 8th to 10th lap gets around.

For the people that karted: What were the best 3 lap times that you all clocked in and on what lap?

I clocked a 1:12.041 (on lap 7), a 1:11.114 (on lap 9), and a 1:11.140 (on lap 10).

Also, did anyone get a pic of JCrim's Fit tripoding on the speed bumps at the beach?

1:10:134 was my best lap, the second lap I made. Before my wrist starting aching! funny thing is, I have some super karting gloves in my damn glovebox of my fit at the time and didn't think about getting them... FML after the second lap, my laptimes got worse and worse hahaha. and bringing my helmet would have been a great idea too. grrr. next time. we will FO SHO go back.

lol you noticed the tripoding? i dog piss everywhere haha

Indeed, I was cracking up when the rear tire shot up just as you started to hit the first bump. Which was kinda why I turned late behind Saved and BlueCell into the parking lot.

My fit has this other really cool trick too, I can jack my fit from any of the specified jacking point and expect the entire side to lift... lol

heres a pretty good 3 OLD wheeling pic.

this was before the cage, its much more over the top now..

Its about what all of us want to do not just one person. Hope yall accept that invite to the October Fest Meet, oooooo good name for it too haha. Ok guys well just hit me up and let me know what yall think. Fereels guys hit me up.

I really dig that first pic of the Fit's lined up! Kinda wish the sun was behind you so the pic would have came out even better, but it still looks good. Which brings up a question...

WIN! Is that with just your Progress RSB and Skunk2s or with some other bracing and suspension goodies?

Thanks guys.

Hootie - Are you talking about this Fro Hat?

Hahahaha...no it wasn't a Fro Hat, that was actually my brother with a cap. I wish that first pic did come out better, it was a bit underexposed on the dark side, I'm still figuring this camera thing out you see...lol

Fort - October is sort of a busy month for me as there are a few car shows I'll probably be going to. Wekfest is Oct. 15th and Houston IFO is like a week later. Don't let that interfere with your plans, though, I'd probably be down any other day.

LOL Yes, that is what I was initially thinking when I spotted him in the pic. I didn't have my glasses at the time on though.

As far as the first pic; its alright (in response to the exposure comment), you might be able to fix it doing a bit of tweaking in an editing program. Other than that you'll get the hang of photography has time passes.
