nothing because it scoops air into the master cylinder

I believe they actually help with ventilation in the engine bay... The other day after driving the car pretty hard I got home and you can feel all that heat escaping from the cowl scoop. So if heat can get out I'm sure cool air is getting in when you are driving.

 

Im interested, would like to know how much for the matte black finish one.
