it's pretty much city driving and we do have terrible traffic everyday. trust me, that's good fuel consumption here in the Philippines. gonna get worse come Christmas season.

 

Just traded my 2010 Blue sensation pearl sport for a 2013 Polished metal metallic sport manual. At first I thought I would miss the beautiful blue color but man the Polished metal really grew on me almost right away along with the new machine finished rims! I think this color makes the car look very classy.

 

haha yeah i agree. i got this color because i thought it was classy ala Mercedes AMG cars (one can aspire).

Anyway, appreciate if you could post some pics to get this thread going.

Got a little dirty with my Fit last night

 

Super clean ride bro! I just put a deposit on a 2012 PMM sport 5spd that I am picking up on Saturday. I can't wait for the next week to pass. What part of KY are you in? Maybe we'll cross paths one day.

I love seeing everyone's rides and as soon as I pick mine up I'll post some pics.It's my DD and I'm going to try to leave it alone mod wise, but we'll see how long that lasts. lol I already am looking at an armrest and window visors and some tint and I don't even have possession of it yet!

I just picked this up yesterday when the local dealer surprised me by having a manual Sport in their inventory. The photos on the Honda site do not render this color very well and this thread helped me decide that I like the color.



I will be retiring the BMW from daily driver duty with the addition of the Fit. And let the modding begin - I ordered the Homelink transmitter and console armrest from College Hills Honda this morning.

I assume you're asking me. Are you referring to the Fit, or my BMW? If it's the Fit, it doesn't look like the dealer did anything to prep the car, to include removing bits of adhesive from the shipping protection. They did a half-assed job of washing it and that's about it

I detail my BMW twice yearly. I wash the car, then claybar using a mild clay from Meguiars and Optimum No Rinse as clay lube. I use Menzerna polishes: POS34A (heavy cut), PO83Q (medium cut), and PO85RD (finishing) with the use of heavier cuts depending on the correction needed in specific areas of the car. I use a Porter Cable random orbital with Lake County pads (yellow - POS34A, orange or white - PO83Q, and green - PO85RD) to apply polishing compounds. I go over the entire car with PO85RD and a green pad prior to applying a sealant. I use Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant and usually apply 2 coats of that product. I apply this by hand. If I decide to apply a carnauba top coat (which is long gone in the photo above), I use Pinnacle Souveran. In between all these products I wipe the car down with Meguiars Final Detail.

I don't plan on being that anal with the Fit (and definitely no carnauba topper), but it is going to get some of that love for its first detail.

 

Here are a couple of better photos, and probably the last while it is stock. I gave it a quick wash yesterday, cleaned up some of the shipping residue the dealer failed to remove, and put on a coat of Blackfire sealant.

It needs wheels, springs, and tint.

 

Here is a pic from the first stop after I drove it off the lot. This was saturday night and now it's all coveredin salt First mods will be Weather tech floor mats and an OEM armrest upgrade. Oh yeah, and get rid of that pin stripe and stickers put on by the dealership!

I just bought my 2013 Fit Sport PMM last wednesday on the 30th.. and I can't wait to start modding and posting pics..

I love the fact there is a thread strictly for PMM Fits...

My color choices was either the Blue Rassberry or the PMM.. I chose the PMM as the BR will get too much attention especially after I start modding..

BTW how many post do I need in order to post pictures?
