^^ I dont remember exactly but im short shifting at like 4-5K to keep the sound of the car down. as for rev-matching, this is my first manual ever. So just give me time lol

Gotcha, it's definitely a more advanced technique. You just blip the throttle when downshifting (ie.. going from 4th to 3rd) to match the revs of the previous gear instead of just letting out on the clutch. It takes a fair ammount of practice to get right.

You should definitely make more videos soon! i like these go pro videos. Even if its just a ride to the store i would watch this lol. A tip for revmatching is pay attention to the rpm's at speed at each gear, for example, i know that at 20mph in second gear my car gd3 is at 2.5k rpm, so when im in third gear and slowing down, i press the clutch, move the shifter to second gear but when my shifter passes the neutral area, i give the gas pedal a little kick and when i see the rpms hit 2500 i let go of the clutch and bingo.
