Here is a few pics, just small stuff like I said earlier. I hate parking lots...I swear I get a new scratch/dent everytime..even parking at the back away from everyone doesnt seem to help..

So the foglights I just unscrewed and unplugged, couples screws to take out the light assembly, went faster plastidipping and I didnt have to worry about taping anything off and cutting excess dip.

The seatbelt cushion my dad found at a swap meet for 15$, he figured I would like them, they are a nice addition and feel pretty good on longer rides.

The third breaklight I unbolted and fashioned my own insert that goes ontop of the lens. My first one was a vinyl sticker but the sun got to it and warped it, so then I cut a piece of clear acrylic, used a ban saw and belt sander to get it to slide in perfectly, scored the original logo I drew and plastidipped the whole thing black. Did a couple coats and to be honest it could use one or two more..up close you can see the light going through the black, from afar you cant though so I guess I am being anal. I used black electrical tape around the edges so no light would go through, turned out pretty well.

Finally, the Honda badges, front and back, plastidipped black. Front turned out clean since its all black, the back however I might redo, take the whole emblem off and paint it instead of taping off. Will be a lot more clean then how it turned out.

Finally got around to posting on here. Did some upgrades in the last week. Swapped out my 14" steelies with winter tread for some sport wheels wrapped in brand new rubber! Also added a few stickers to make it my own for now.

I also thought a lot about the sport body kit and I am going to stick with the DX look for now because there really is no tricked out DX's so I'm pretty stoked to see how it turns out!

Future upgrades include JDM Honda emblems, Progress rear sway bar and a Greddy Ti-C catback exhaust so stay tuned!!!

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think Canada did get the blackberry pearl DX. I got my car from an auction and I feel like it came from the U.S. because of how clean everything is in the engine bay and underneath the car.

I forget what the trim levels are in Canada but it for sure isn't an US model since BlackBerry Pearl was a Sport only color here for 2008 and had TPMS.

Maybe its an LX?

DX : 2 speaker stereo, steel wheels
LX :4 speaker stereo, air, power mirrors, power locks, steel wheels
Sport : All the goodies.

Keep the DX look, Stingy! There are only a few of us modded non-sport models around (In Canada at least).

My dad picked up some dampers from Princess Auto for 10$ a piece, we did a little fab work because the brackets that came with them just wouldn't work. Nice little addition I think.

I have seen those in the PA flyer. Keeping them in mind if need to replace the hatch ones.

That's amazing. I was thinking about doing that to my fit as well. Where did you screw it into on the engine bay?

I keep coming up with new projects as I let the "wiring my fog lights into my nighttime lights slide. Lazy I am and electrical I hate.

I used the bolt that is for the headlight and drilled a second just above it so the bracket wouldnt move when closing the hood

You could probably go down a size, with these ones I have to hold on to my hood and not let it fling up for fear of popping the shock out of the bolt, happened once when I was just trying to fit one side.

I think I need to update this, at work at the moment so I will post pictures some time in the near future.

I have the Kenstyle kit I bought off of Gawa that I need to prep for paint still, bought the jdm steering emblem, rear trunk garnish where the wiper is...I plan to debagde and flush it so it's just the panel (no raised badge/wiper delete), and finally the dash kit and a Samsung tab 3 that will go in with my Bluetooth obd dongle
