I'm assuming the reason all of the factory metal seems have been stripped & spot welded is to increase stiffness? I wonder how much of a difference this makes as opposed to the roll cage alone.

I think I saw this car on a flat bed tow truck a few weeks ago heading north on the 5 in Anaheim...I think it was a Saturday.

WW, that's all I gotta say Actually I will say more: I'm very impressed with all the workmanship and am anxious to see further developments on this project Hope in the process of developing this project something can trickle down as a commercially available part

well the roll cage helps hold the body together and in case if the car rolls over hence the name "roll cage" spot weld creates more of a rigid chassis which is more stable for real hard cornering...that is extreme and these guys are gonna kick ass with this one...need a driver???

thanks for all of your responses. Just to clarify, the car is not ours. We are doing all of the chassis work for a customer.

Quote from customer
"Holy shit , wait a second that looks like my car you guys are Dimple Die Whores I love it, I cant wait to beat the snot out of this car For those of you asking about suspension , hang tight there will be pictures but let me say its not what you expect. but it involves a motorcycle...
For those asking about the motor I will have some pics soon.. the guys at Peak Boost are doing a sick turbo kit . ERL is responsible for a monster of a block, it's fully built, Darton sleeved Brian crower 2.6l stroker with a full ferrea valve train and seriously the most bad ass head work I have ever seen was done by Stewart engines.
more to come ...............
Leigh.."
