NA 6.2L
Pretty similar driving experience
4x the power, uses 4x the gas. The fit is still more fun to drive though.

I find the Vertex steering wheel too thin for my liking, so I picked up a J's Racing wheel at TAS earlier this year.

Also, the coils for the C

Nice. They look good rolling

I Keep eyeing your ssr's for sale.. But 17's on non dropped fit may look off.. And the skinny rubber may be harsh on my daily commute into downtown.

Car is looking good

The Bosch oil filter they included is very short. If I have enough clearance I'll be using the Project Mu filter.

Hi Gawa,

I am planning to have an oil cooler kit on my car and I need your advice,

First,
Is the HKS sandwich adapter that you use is the one with this part number:HKS S-Type 2599-SA008

Second,
Can we use Honda OEM oil filter with this HKS Sandwich or do we have to change oil filter?

Third,
Do you bought a complete HKS universal type S kit?
or HKS have specific Honda Fit kit?
What is the part number of the kit that you bought?

Forth,
If I am not mistaken, the sandwich have 1 1/8PT sensor hole,
and the other one is M12×P1.25 (1hole), is this correct?
Do you utilize the M12xP1.25? and do you use any adapter to 1/8pt or 1/8npt on this one?

Fifth,
Is our Honda fit center bolt thread M20×P=1.5.?

most likely I would just buy the HKS oil sandwich adapter,
I wonder if the HKS oil sandwich adapter already came with the o-ring and center bolt or I have to buy extra...

Thanks Gawa

Hi there,

1) I'm not sure of the exact part number as I bought a GD Fit specific kit. But according to this link, it looks like the sandwich plate part # might be 2504-SA002
OIL COOLER KIT | PRODUCT | HKS
Mine is definitely like the S-type though, not the R-type.

2) I've never tried using an OEM filter on the kit, using Project Mu right now. According to the link below in 3), it seems like they require a different oil filter? Not the stock one... I'm not sure why though. The threading is the same.. maybe the exterior dimensions are a little bit different, since the sandwich plate pushes the filter out like an inch?

3) Fit specific HKS kit.
OIL COOLER KIT?FIT
Part # is 15004-AH002

4) You're right, the S-type sandwich plate only has 1 1/8" NPT hole, and the other is M12x1.25... I had to buy an adapter to run another 1/8" NPT sensor. I run oil pressure and temp from the sandwich plate.

5) Sorry I'm not sure about this one :\

Hope that helps though!
