Fit wrecked!!

Doesn't take much to to total either! One of my drivers feel asleep at the wheel and is lucky to be alive to talk about it. He side-swiped a pole...

I guess the "drivetrain is snapped"? IS what I was told...I wasn't able to look under the hood, they had it locked up when I arrived at the tow lot.

Did they tell how much damage was done monatery wise? My car so far is $5,240.17 and looks way worse than that. Look in Fit pictures and you will see it.

Yeah, I guess no one else wants them here in Red-neck, farm country. Pickups and SUV's are still the norm...

I am sorry to see a fit hurt. Good that there was no human loss.

BTW in the Ponce, PR dealer, there were like 20 Fits 3 of them manual. That's really weird !!! ALL OF THEM WHITOUT A NAME ON IT!!!!!!

What was the total damage? One of the reasons its 8700.00 is that the drives train is trashed...Oh and these cars DO NOT have Black Boxes in them. Someone said they did in another post...

Sorry to hear about the accident.

Most of the damage was not seen.

So I guess when you crash- crash big- don't hold back. But don't crash too hard/fast.

I hope your driver is OK. It's pretty scary to wake up crashing into a pole.

Are all of your FITs white?

yeah, I could see them totalling it if the drive-axle snapped causing tranny damage... Please keep us posted on the "quality" of the fit as you collect mileage on it... I know you guys put LOTS of mileage on the cars! Can't wait to see how they perform over miles/time!

Wait...hold on...NOT TOTALED!

The Ins. company says its 8700.00 in damage on a car that cost 16,500 but they won't total it!

SO it'll be up and running soon! Great! A Fit has been saved!! But to tel you the truth even if they totalled it, some guy would have bought it as a salvaged/rebuildable and put it back together as a Whole FiT again anywayz!
