Mt. Hamilton Run With EXWRX

This story appeared two days ago in the Fit Talk forum, but some NOOB moderator decided to protect readers with his new "muscle" and CLOSED the thread. There was no illegal activity here. It was follow-the-leader with no posted speed limits other than the CA Universal Speed Law, no one else on the road, no passing (which was impossible), and if either of us got into trouble, the other person could call for help.

You can read the original story here:

I believe his story was posted before he was a mod. So check your facts before attempting to throw someone under the bus.

Kthanksbye.

As mod, he should close his own story because it violates the forum rules. Closing a thread should be done with justification. And now the moderators have deleted my reference to I Am Ray's past post about his illegal street race. My comment was at the end of post #1 and somebody (Ray?) censored it out. Watch it people, the Communists have taken over the forums

If it's okay for the goose, then it should be okay for the gander. Can someone reopen the thread? We were driving briskly, but safely. So any threads on the Dragon or other spirited drives should be closed?!? Just ludicrous!

I will let it go only because I can't do anything about it, not because it's right.

My point is, if no rules are broken, YOU do not have the right to censor/delete/edit anyone's post on the forums. Do you understand now?

But throwing someone under the bus with misinformation is the right thing to do as well?

He was a new mod on 05-31-08 and his street racing post was posted on 06-02-08 so HE WAS A MOD WHEN HE POSTED HIS STREET RACING POST. Be sure of your FACTS before censoring any post.

And there was a moderating rule that nobody BUT ADMIN guys could edit any posting. You could move, lock, merge posts BUT STRICTLY NO EDITING and any post that was deleted HAD to be moved to the trash bin so that any "EDITING" had a record that could be checked. HAVE THE RULES CHANGED??????

Would you like me to post the link that proves that I Am Ray WAS a moderator when he posted his illegal street racing story? Or will you censor that if I post it? Is your real name Vladimr Putin?

I knew this was going to come from as I could see you two PMing one another.

Regardless, the old thread is not being opened back up and if a new one is made. It will get deleted and the original poster will be spoken with accordingly.

Dave,
Im not starting another conflict here, but it was talk of illegal street racing, which we do not allow. I fully support whoever closed that thread. You obviuosly said "raced another Fit owner". You clearly described how hard a fast you guys were pushing, im 100% sure you were well over the speed limit.

OK, any additional beef please PM me with your concerns. I will deal with this situation between mods, supermods, and members. Let's get this straight:

Claymore is CORRECT in saying that mods do not have the right to edit someone else's post unless you are admin. There will be no censoring of someones post by mods or Super Mods. If it is inappropriate for the site, it will be closed or trashed/deleted. If there is a conflict with what someone has written, please contact me and I will make the decision.

No Street Racing posts are allowed on this forum and any subsequent threads regarding this topic will be removed immediately regardless of who posted it.
