Replacing coilovers

So I’m not fully sure if my HSD coilovers are blown. Car sat in the garage for 6 years not driven. I’ve been driving it now for a few months and always hear squeaking coming from the rear. It’s now gotten real loud and real prominent almost all the time now. Am I correct in thinking this s a suspension problem?

If it is a coilovers issue, I’m thinking about replacing with Tein street advance Z as in quite broke and need suspension. Would this suspension been adequate?

It's probably dry top mounts.

So to replace the mounts those don’t need to be HSD. I can get oem replacements?

I'm not sure, but probably. Maybe a couple drops of some rubber-safe lube (silicone?) could solve it. What year is your Fit?

Fit is a 2007. Was thinking about using white lithium grease on both sections, bushings that sit in the trunk and bushing in that are under the car as well.

That sounds like a good plan. I hope it remedies the problem and saves you a few bucks! 👍

Glad to say lithium grease solved the issue. Road test was flawless. I love these HSD coils. Best I’ve ever ran.

i noticed I don’t have a dust boot on one of the struts. Rear left. Where all the noise was. Some solid grease up there. Running mint.

2007 GD3 with 193,000km. Off the road for 6 years and she’s still running mint. Coils have no more than 40,000km on it. If that.
