Progress Auto Rear Anti-Sway bar! WITH DIY PHOTOS PAGE 5!
Hey thanks, IIEZ. I got depressed last night by a post saying the Progress Sway Bar was out of stock. Then today, got a call from my dealer: Fit arriving anyday! Saw your post and just got off the phone with Joey. Sway bar being sent out today. After my tint and paint protection, this will be my first aftermarket addition. The reviews on FitFreak.net made it too hard to turn down.

Got mine today. Install was a breeze (thanks to cut T1R springs. Rears fall out. )
Once I drove my car off the ramps I noticed the stiffness of the rear end. Almost feels more stiff than the front.
Over larger dips my sway bar makes noise, but thats easily fixed with the knob on the radio.
Car is WAY more responsive. Took her on my "test road." Hit the curves last night before I got the bar, ewww. I had a lot of understeer. 14in wheels own me.
With the bar most of the understeer is gone. I might go to a AutoX event tomorrow. Doubt it though.
Id run on my Eurosports over my 14's. 60 series all seasons really take them corners.

Installed!!!
Just put them on last night. Installation was not bad at all, just hot in my garage. I posted some pics. You can see where the bar is above the exhaust and gas pipe. Only I didn't like was when putting the springs back on, it was pushing down on the gas pipe. Didn't hurt anything, but didn't like how it looked when I was pushing down on the rear arm. Did a test drive and just like the others it was a world of a difference and I am on stock springs. Enjoy the pics I think you can figure it out.

My bar just came in today, I ordered it through "Never Enough Auto Accessories", their ebay link was posted earlier.
Can I just use a spring compressor to make my life easier removing and re-installing the springs?

Follow the Progress instruction sheet, and read my DIY early in this thread. R&R of springs is easier than using spring compressor, and you need access to the spring perches to tighten the sway bar bolts.
There is no need for a spring compressor in the rear.
What I like about the bar; when going over big inclines my car 3 wheels. On just springs before, it did it a little but now it really does it. Guess its because it doesnt let the rear control arm fall lower than the other. Proves its working I guess?

I guess you can use one, but again you don't have to. However it might be nice because you wont have to push down too much on the rear arm in which the rear sway will push down on the gas tube. If you have it, use it. If you have to go out of your way to get one, don't bother. My two cents.

For non-USDM Fits that only have two holes in the spring perches, you could make a paper template of the bolt hole locations once you get your Progress bar. Mark and drill the extra hole through the perch on each side and you should be OK. The resistance against the normal flexing of the axle beam that this bar provides is very high, so I think that three bolts would be necessary.

According to claymore, you only have two holes in the lower spring pockets, so you would have to drill one more hole on each side. You could use the existing holes to fasten the bar, then use the holes in the bar brackets as guides to drill the extra hole on each side. that is assuming that the two holes on each side that you already have are in the right place to match the holes in the brackets on the sway bar.

It DOES prove that the sway bar is working, as if you didn't already know from the improved handling.

so at wat speed does the car oversteer? will the car oversteer when driving about 70mph and makin small turn like on a curvy or windy road?
probably like 25 to 35 degree turn? just wondering if the car willl start oversteer at a certain speed, just to be on the safe side cos i do alot of highway driving at 70 to 80 mph.
and i dont wanna be spinning or wiping out
