Hay Freaks,
I found a guy that has GF210 for $ 157 tax included in CA
for local pickup in Hacienda Heights, CA area.

He will also ship.
Let me know if interested and I will hook you up.
AC

PS: He said it was OK to post here.

black plastic wrap

Everyone who's ordered the GF210's:

Did you guys get the black plastic wrap that is supposed to come with the springs? I noticed in many of the installation pictures it is missing. Mine came without the wrap. I emailed Tanabe about this and hope to get it resolved...

Do the springs make more noise if the tape isn't installed? I am going to wait
until I hear back before installing the GF210's.

Hey freaks,

I know of a couple of guys that are selling GF210s here in the San Bernardino/Riverside area. I believe they have a set of springs in-stock right now, but they can get them anytime.

PM me for pricing, is what they said.

Got my GF210's put on at the same time as the Progress anti-sway bar. I didn't use a spring compressor or any fancy tools, just had a friend come by for assistance.

Total price for these two mods was under 300 and I couldn't be happier with the results:

It's about as low as I would ever want it - any lower and I will be scraping the driveway ramp. As it is, no bottoming out or rubbing, and the GF210s give the anti-sway bar a little more room near the fuel line. I posted driving impressions in the other thread (link here).

Question for ya since mine looked like this too. Half of the coil is fully compressed, too tight for a piece of paper to slide in there (I checked). So... What does that part of the spring do, cuz it aint compressing any further?

I think those coils are essentially spring silencers, so in that pic above when the coils are compressed they don't rub metal on metal. So if you want them on, which I don't think is necessary, but the on the 2nd most coiled from top and then skip one and then next. should give you some cushion..

you don't need them on the rears. I put them on the fronts.

Just installed

Rides great. So far no rubbing and handles beautifully. My only installation issue was the axle popping out. That part sucks.

My buddy mechanic helped me installed the springs and had it set this way in the rear.

If your wondering what kind of exhaust, its Tanabe Concept G.

I plan on installing the GF210's on my Fit sport, along with 15in Konig Heliums on the stock tire. The insurance company says its alright as long as the body of the car does not sit below the rim. This doesn't seem to be the case in the pictures, but I just want to be sure that I'll be safe with this set up. Any verification for somebody with a similar set up?
