Got my KW coilover suspension!

Want to first thank KW Suspension usa for sending these out! UPS just dropped them off, and can't wait to install them.. My car is at the bodyshop now so will have to wait till it gets back.. I will have a full install write up which will be posted on tunerzine.com so check back!

Quality of these things rock!

KW automotive North America Inc. Suspension -- Coilovers -- Shocks -- Springs

There is the link for the Fit.
KW are highly regarded in the European car market and are a top notch coilover with the German tuv approval in stainless steel. (and no plastic as questioned above)

These are the "v2" version that have adjustable rebound and height adjustment from 25-35mm lower front and 5-35mm lower rear. They ain't cheap at $1650 retail but group buys and discounts were abundant when I purchased mine for the Audi at $950.

This is good news for FIT owners. I look forward to hearing how you like these.

KW is a very good suspension brand, all the s2000 guys i hang with rave about them and they're all track whores. They have good beginner, intermediate, and race setups. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Thumbs up

Hey guys,

I am from Singapore, and believe me, this is one of the best that goes well with the Fit/Jazz. I have ordered these coilover and should be arriving in 1 week's time. The minute I sat in my friend's car with this coilover (first car on this setup), I never look back. This coilover is specially make for our cars and you can use back the linkages and it fits very well. Pls purchase the Tein spring siliencer to reduce the noise that is often heard when you are on coilover. And the best thing is you can use back those suspension covers at the rear, which often does not allow you due to the design of other brands, like Tein. You get firm cornering without sacrificing the comfort. Maximum height for the KW is 1.5 fingers. Yes, they are not cheap, but certainly worth evry $$ spend for the setup.

Did you get these installed - can you share your impressions?

I want these too, but the best price I've found is $1400 on Ebay. Anyone found a better price?

Keep your money in your pocket. On the rear, the four middle coils sit almost on each other. They make contact when you hit a bump. The smaller top coilover on the front suspension is collapsed and useless. It makes noise similar to what a stagecoach from the 1800's might be like. I'm working on a different route for my suspension needs.
