So yeah...installed my Tanabe goodies

Long story short. Pics MAY be up but noticed a smudge on the lens. Installed the following items:

Tanabe Front strut bar
Tanabe Rear strut Bar
Tanabe GF 210's
Tababe Lower arm bar

Everything went well except the passenger side axle decided to pop out just when I got the top strut bolt out. :| Needless to say, it wouldn't wiggle back in so I had to take the boot clamps off and repack the bearings and put new clamps on. I hope that they hold. I may take it to Honda to have them redo it just so they are real Honda clamps. Pissed me off and lowered my motivation to post pics this minute. If they turn out, I will post them later.

Other than that, everything was ok. Axle grease is everywhere though So oh well.

Kris

why? It was at that half shaft portion? I muffed with it for an HOUR and I wasn't willing to break it. I had to slide to boot back down to stuff the bearings back in as they were NOT going :|

Hi Kris-

Good job on the photos. My curiosity with your new parts concerned the difference between the Tanabe front strut bar and the one from A Spec. The two seem to have similar tower brackets, but the Tanabe looks like it has MUCH better fasteners. It also looks like the bar eye bolts are TWO pieces- the eye bolt, with a separate jam nut that locks it against the end of the bar. Without being able to see it in person, it appears that the Tanabe kit is worth the extra $20-25.00 over the price of the A Spec front bar. Thanks for taking the time to post your photos.

wow man that sucks about the axle popping out. My driver side axle popped out but me and my little brother spent about an hr trying 2 get it back in and after countless rotations of the axle and curse words, he finally got it to pop back in. We made sure the same mistake didn't happen on the other side.
