Actually, they're both part of a single kit from fastbrakes.com

Fastbrakes.com

Yeah I checked that site out and even though I had known about its existence I hadn't taken my time to check out what was available for the fit. I'm now slobbering over their custom 11" kit that incorporates Wilwood Dynapro calipers, rotors, lines, caliper brakets and they say they work on 15" wheels.

*DROOOLLL* And the price is right on them, thank you sir, I just replaced my idea of spoon calipers in favor for this full kit, plus they match my gloss black lightweight wheels perfectly.

Im really cheesed......

I cant believe it!!
I took my car in this morning for its first service, and I asked them to check the brakes cos they had started shuddering yesterday and they were not performing like they used to, and guess what???
After 15 280km (9494 miles) i need to replace both pads and they want to skim the discs cos they are discoloured and a little warped, which is going to cost me a small fortune.
Of course they blame my "driving style", until an older lady sitting next to me also said that her brakes went at 12 000km!!! I hardly think she is racing around the streets. I do brake hard but not THAT hard.

I remember reading some magazine (i thought it might be popular mechanics) having the same problem with the fit after doing a canyon run. Of course honda replaced the warped rotors under warranty.

Oh, I tried to get them to replace the rotors on warranty, but they want nothing of it.
Why does Honda insist on using soft compound brake pads when they know they are just going to wear out at 15 000km - 20 000km.
Oh, I know why, they make more money like that!!

To the people who have had to replace pads, did you notice anything prior such as softer pedal, or the ABS motor kicking in under circumstances where you really wouldn't need ABS? My pedal seems a little softer than it used to be, and I can feel the ABS motor kicking in when it really isn't necessary. I originally thought it had something to do with my HFP wheels and Falken tires, but I just switched to winter tires and have noticed it again. I only have 14K on the Fit, so I wouldn't expect to need brakes yet.

I replaced the front brake pads at about 145,000 km (87,000 miles) of mostly highway driving. The inner pads (pads closest to the engine) are harder to see, but wore faster.

I just checked the rear brakes at 195,000 km (117,000 miles) and they had about 0.2 mm of wear. They should be replaced at about 2.0 mm of wear so maybe the rear brakes will last longer than the car?

guys, changing brake rotors and pads are cheap.

if you have the right tools it costs between 100-200 depending on the pads. for rotors, autozone carries the 2002-2004 civic si rotors for 20 dollars each. the si has the same rotors. they also carry a two year warranty, so if your rotors warp, they will replace for free.

for brakes just go with any base 2003-2006 base rsx brake pads. they run from 50-100 depending on the brand.

i replaced my brakes and rotors for 120 dollars. rotors 40 + tax, pads were 70
