used tanabe df210 springs...should i buy them?

used tanabe df210 springs...should i buy them?

i found some used tanabe df210's supposedly in good condition in austin, texas. i live in another city in tx, so they'd have to be picked up by my sister. he said, they were used for about ~4k miles...for $115. should i buy them or just save for a couple more weeks to buy new springs?
i'd like them to be purchased and installed before thanksgiving if possible.

open to suggestions..

do it.

i used to sit on some df210's and they rode pretty darn good to me. it's QUALITY imho. not bouncy at all , in fact it felt like stock to me.

but i ended up selling them because i wanted to go lower on some eibach sportlines.

is there a such thing as bad springs if they're used for a bit, or does it not make a difference compared to new ones?

I don't think they're bad, I think they'd just be settled. I've heard some people complain about that initial break in period with new springs - they tend to be a little harsher, bouncier, whatever, but in time they soften to their normal and permenant height and ride.

I've yet to experience this - I'm still rolling stock so this is all speculation

i thought eibachs were not as low as the tanabes? i thought the df210s were the lowest springs out for our fits?

no way...eibach sportlines are the lowest drop for springs for the fit, lower than tanabe df210's. i think i'll be sportin' some sportlines pretty soon. i'll take pictures of the drop if i do.
