No, it sounds to me like either you didn't install the rubber pieces off the stock spring onto the skunk2 spring OR you didn't ensure that the springs were seated against the metal stops which hold them in place.

 

josh, it was more like a generalized honda meet, crixtala ( a fit freaker and the only other fit driver besides me) attended. there was a good mix of cars, and it was cool, we bbq'd. i'll keep you posted if anything else comes up.
