Front Cusco tower bar owners, please chime in

I bought the Cusco tower bar and installed it on my 08Fit Sport
last week.

In the instructions it states that on the 1.5L i need to move around
some harness over the motor to prevent contact with the bar.
(it's in Japanese).

anyway, i didn't have any clearance issues with my bar so did not
go through this procedure.

ive driven the car over 200miles now and no irratic noises or any
thing like that....

does the motor rock so much that it hits the bar or something
shifting at wot?

no don't worry it does not. I have seen the cusco bar in person on my friends fit and it doesn't hit at all. The jdm intake manifold is a little different then ours so the harness sits a little higher.

Same here, my Cusco bar clears with no issues. Have had it installed for a few months of daily driving and 2 time attack meets with 0 issues whatsoever!

I installed the bar a week ago. I just took the car for a 1000 miles round trip and I have no issue. The clearance issue is for JDM model only.

guys, thanks again.

btw, if you didn't use loctite on your mounting screws (4), check
your torque. mine backed out twice using 25lbs. went up to about
35lbs and it's been solid.
