I would say anywhere from 1-2 hours. It took me a few hours to install but that's because this is probably the first spring installation i've done and I don't have access to all the equipment most shops have like a lift and stuff. From what i've been reading you only need to do a front alignment but you could do all 4 wheels. I haven't done an alignment yet but my car slightly pulls to the left which is acceptable for now until I get time to go do an alignment.

The install is pretty easy and quick. Heres a link to help you install How To: Install Skunk2 Lowering Springs for Honda Fit. You dont have to do a 4 wheel alignment but its something that i would highly recommend seeing you are tweaking with all four wheels. The likely hood of the rears actually getting out of place is pretty good. I dont remember off hand how far mine were out but i do remember that the car drove like a dream afterward. Thats my .02 cents. There are a whole bunch of threads on alignment, camber, and all that stuff if you look. Im no suspension expert i just know when you mess with it you have to align before too long so you dont dick anything up. Good luck..
