The part number for the front struts seems to be a combination of two. If anyone is successful in getting price/availability info., please try to get explanation for the double number.
Thanks.

Tokico has always had two part numbers for their front shocks. One number is for the front left shock and the other is for the front right. The rears are usually sold as one item.

Gotcha- thanks for the education. Now I am less ignorant about Tokico, since I knew nothing at all to begin with.

Also interested in a group buy. I've been watching the SHOX site for a couple months. When nothing happened I was worried TOKICO got cold feet with the new model coming out.

Actually, most Struts that have the coil perch attached use different part #'s for left and right sides.

I'm interested in these (and have been checking the Shox site since I got my Fit), but if they're not substantially better than stock, I'll hold off for something real. The struts are the only magic part IMHO, the rears are pretty easily swapped for other applications. I'm hoping the fronts are adjustable, but not holding my breath...
