My Skunk2 springs are making a lot of noise... anybody know how/if you can buy things to make the quiet... (mostly the front)

if they are making noise, you did something wrong. no offense. go through the install again, re-tighten/torque the bolts and such

is it a squeaking sound? if so, you can remedy this by putting white grease on every contact point where metal touches rubber.

Im 99% I did it right. None-Taken... but I guess checking the bolts wont hurt. It sounds more like the spring itself... I'm not totally sure... but I'll update tmrw night after I check

Hahahaha well I had a friend ride a long with me (he's pretty experienced with cars, is on his second wrx... lol) and he said its nothing to worry about. I guess the sound has been dimishing over the last couple of days... so yeh thanks for all your guys help... he just told me to find some sound deadening stuff for the inside of the fender. His suspension makes a lot of noise too... but then again, he gutted his car... hahaha

So i'm basically looking for some sound deading stuff

hey, i had a heavily modded 02 wrx at one time that i worked on, and
my FitSport makes no such noise (lowering spring or coilovers). there's
something wrong with the install, imho.

go back and check all the nuts and bolts..especially the endlink nuts.
i have a feeling your nut over the metal hat (under the bottom half
of the strut mount) is loosening up.

...well, given that the noise is coming from the suspension... rid the
source, not cover it up.

Well I think I fixed it... I'll let you know when I drive it tmrw... where is it at? Did you install them yourself? Is so, go back and tighten everything...

Hahaha my friend loosened something without telling me (by accident), so I think that was the problem (it was the bottom bolt on the bar that connects the sway bar/break to the middle of the strut... the thing you have to unbolt the top to take out the strut)

i use to eat over at SHIN SEN GUMI all the time. those karate folks
scare me sometimes with their loud voices. WAT WOULD YOU LIKE
SIR?!!

umm...a little piece and quiet would be nice to go with my Hakata Ramen...
