I just don't know much about Megan except the make a decent CHEAP ex. for the fit. I've always thought they made cheap products. I do know BuddyClub has been around for many years w/ a reputiable background.

I would say the buddies over megan, better quality for the money, but why just those two if you dont mind me asking? My personal preference is the skunk2's but thats just my .02 cents. Good luck on your decision.

i appreciate megan's offerings for our cars with a budget price.

but, looking at their axlebacks, i think you get wat you pay for.
wait for the EnduraTech's.

i own a set of megans now, i had the same problem choosing too. well, i dont have a first hand exp. w/ the buddys but, when i was searching around, there were some issue of them leaking. it could just have been a defect; it was for another car though, not the fit. As far as the megans go, if you want performance they are the stiffest ive ever felt. my friends all have 240's with all different coilovers(teins, jic, ksport) and none of them are as stiff. adjusting the damper to its softest compares with theirs on hard. With the dampening on hard, it handles like no other. I live in arizona, and when i take trips to vegas i put them on hard and NO LIE, i take the big turns @ 103mph. If you want ur car to feel like racing/sreet car, it does its job. daily driving: i set it to soft and it still bumps, but its easily excused. The only thing that is questionable, is its drop. i dont know how much it drops, i never measured but, right now i have it dropped to its fullest and it barely tucks oem wheelsbut, everyone i know likes it. Ill post some picks when i get a chance, NO CAMERA......Put it this way, BEST bang for the buck suspension, and as far as I know the buddys have been around, but ive been told the megans are a side project of APEXi. Not to brag, but for an example, when Srt's and muscle cars want to race i take them to ramps on the freeway and leave them in the dust running stock motor. SORRY FOR THE NOVEL, JUST HELPIN A FELLOW FREAK(i know how it feels to choose)....L8

SO YOU KNOW WHAT i decided to get the MEGAN coils becuase of the price and that theirs had pillow mounts which is what i wanted
hahaha
everythign was going smoothly till a friend of mines yanked on the driver side axel and it came off
i IMed koolkev but he told us to do what we were already doing
it took us 2 hours of jerking an dpushing
so we said F'it took out the axel and got it all together again
then we finished
right????
NO!!!!!
you would assume the whole set up is set up
but no
you need to take those rubber mounts and that medal washer thing from the stock shocks and mount those on to the coilover shocks
GRRRRRRRRRR
so we took everythign off again

so my perspective so far
i love it
my alignment is off becuase of the axel being taken off but HEY
i love it
32 way adjustable FTW
=]
thanks anyways guys

SORRY! i shouldve warned you, that also happened to me. the axel came off and took me the whole day to put back together. Congrats on the purchase. A few questions though, Are you droppn it to its fullest, because you should and fly it around some turns and tell me how they are.(youll notice, that if fly a turn that ur car wont lean but be sliding with no body roll. WHERE DID YOU GETM? AND HOW MUCH?.......l8

Woops!!! 4got 2 mention...its nit bcuz the axel fell out, is why ur alignment is off, its actually bcuz u lowered it wit different suspension. i had the same problem. just get it aligned...REMEMBER: every time you change ur ride height, you have 2 realign, so just lower it to its fullest then align it...l8

hahaha thanks squad fit
i know all this already
i have a friend thats a suspension specialist so he tells me the dos and donts

well i only brought it down to a finger gap in the rear which is around 12 inches from the center of the rim to the fender
and the front were already a finger gap but i dropped it 4 turns to have it barely lower which was i think around 11inches to 11.5 inches from center to fender

i already knew about the axel problem with mcpherson struts
hahaha almost happend when i was installing my skunk2 springs but the alignment wouldnt have messed up if it wasnt for the axel but the cars already aligned and all so alls good
hahaha
thanks though
good stuff and i love the ride i have it on 18 in front and 12 in the back
from soft to hard i mean

Wait a minute...so...you're saying that every time I would decide to change the ride height, I have to go spend $100 or whatever on an alignment?! Somehow I would think that would defeat the purpose of having a coilover...

Well thats what everyone says, everyone as in companies.....but i had mine aligned with a 1in ride height, then I changed the height without changing the alignment and it was still good.....I think if you change the ride height by alot, then you have to realign. When you get coilovers, youll notice that these little tasks of hard work are all worth it in the end..L8

I disagree. I want to be able to adjust it on a daily basis if I want and not have to worry about alignment issues. I have no clue why it would need to be realigned all the time when everything is attached and put in place. If that's the case, then that made the decision for me. Springs it is!
