Stiffer but not THAT low ;)

Hey guys, I feel when I'm putting heavy stuff in my trunk that the rear end is REALLY dipping... So I'm considering changing to coilovers which would be stiffer, and would give me more "control" but considering I'm living in Quebec, and we got 4 meters of snow last winter!!! I don't want my lil Fit to be to low. To Help it, I'll certainly remove the "Sport Bodykit" shaving a inch and ½.
But the second solution would be considering to switch (at the same time I put winter tires, remove bodykit) the coilover kit to the stock setup...
Anyways, lemme know what you think...

i dont drive my fit in the snow. we dont have work if there is more than an inch or 2 of snow on the road here in maryland due to insurance reasons(at my company any ways, not every single company does this) and we drive work trucks around once we get to the shop...do you HAVE to drive your fit in the snow...?

Read the Monroe Air Shocks threads. They will take care of your dipping with weight problems in any weather conditions for only about $75.00 U.S. from Amazon.com.

Yeah, well we have snow for about 4-5 month per year, We don't have choice but to run in the snow!
As for the monroe shocks, I know what you mean but it's not quite about the bumps when I ride, I mean more about coilsprings which seems to be quite weak... Wonder if I can put some other ones which would be stiffer without dropping the car too low...

most coilovers you should be able to set it at stock height
(or even taller).

i drove my FitS in the chicago snow last year and it did ok with the
junk Falken Ziex912's up to about 1.5inches... the tires are such garbage
i need to consider snow tires this season since the wife's going to be
using my legacy (AWD) for work this winter. the ride height was
about -1.8". it wans't the clearance i had issues with, just the tires.

even on a dry day the ziex912 performed terribly in the cold.

Tein Basic coilovers. Can be dropped only 3/4" and are around 2.3X Stiffer than stock.
