sorry if theres another post on this. i tried a search and found nothing. but after i installed my RSB i started noticing a squeaking. it turns out its my rear left spring rubbing against the perch it sits on. it looks like the screws it came with are pushing the spring a little towards the left since i guess the right side is where the end of the spring is, causing it to be a little lower. the right side is fine since the screw is actually pushing it away from the perch on that side.

anyway. i was just wondering if anyone else had this issue after installing the RSB. i bought some screws that seem to have a shorter head but just wanted to see if there was a more simple solution. thanks.

 

that is what everyone one else is doing. just get some short headed bolts. look at panducky to see which bolts they sell to get an idea.

 

There are many posts on this issue. Panducky sells a kit with round head bolts that take care of the squeeks.

 

i switched to skunk2 coilovers and i dont have any more squeek

 

i never had that issue with noise with my GF210's OR Ksports Coilovers. But ATM with the ksports it looks like its sitting unevenly cuz of the bolts but its no biggie.

 

yeah, its no biggie. just turn up the radio :P

 

I had the exact same problem. I bought Panducky screws. It did the trick!

 

You can also level the spring out with extra bolts in the empty holes on the lower spring perch.

 

+1 if you take it a step further on the panducky bolts and use some
carriage bolts in the empty holes it levels the spring pretty much flat.

 

glad someone is thinking outside the box. wonder if it would be good if i just welded it and took out my bolts?

 

that's one way to do it, but bolting (to most folks) would be
easier.

 

i have this problem with progress springs and progress rear sway bar and have emailed progress to possibly start supplying different hardware with their sway bars.
i will post their reply when i get it.

ive actually be meaning to take some pictures. ill try and take some today...im by no means a phototrapher, but ill try and get some good shots.

 

sweet cuz some dude is selling his progress springs and I'm thinking about going for it. Is the ride more bouncy over bumps and stuff?
