Best spring with 16s on?

I want to know what is the most possible lowest/practical drop springs to have with 16s on. I am running a set of 205/40/16 with an offset of 45s(I think). Any advice/opnion will be greatly appreciated.BTW pics with springs, 16s on will be the best decision maker. Thanks in advance.....

you might want to look at the spring comparison thread. but if you really want to just go low on springs i'd suggest the Tanabe DF210's. im pretty sure they offer the lowest drop.

definately DF210's if u want the lowest possible drop on springs. Also look into Tein S techs, a low drop with decent handling characteristics

Thanks for the response. I wanted the tanabe's but i read a lot of people having rubbing issues. It's my daily ride so i still want to have practicality.

im on gf210's with 16's, 195/55 tires, stock 09 rims, and i dont rub. Its approximately 1.5 finger gap in the front, 1 finger gap in the rear. Tanabes lower 1.5front .9 rear

The GF210's dont lower the car as much as the DF's do though. If you dont want to rub you might want to look at either the Tein S-techs or possibly Skunk2 springs.

i would drop on either the skunk2 springs for a stiffer ride or the progress springs for an even drop and smoother ride. with your high offset you should not have any rubbing problems with either of these springs.

df210s will have a clean drop. 205/40/16 will damage the rims on road cond., you'll be better with 205/45/16

no...well it might, but depending on the offset. stick with +45 offset and you will never rub.

I got GF210 with 16" w/ 205/45/16. Its not that low, but you can look at the picture in my sig. I may be going to S-techs soon just to go lower. Since i have the base, i dont have to worry as much about scrape-age. LOL.

Yeah its a good drop. Not too low. And from what Tanabe claims, the GF210 is engineered more towards performance, than the DF210. I've only scraped the front once the whole time with the drop. LOL. But i've never got exhaust scrapage. But I kinda want to go lower because I have so much more ground clearance without the lip kit. But I like it. and Thanks, Base Fit represent. LOL
