Vogtland's website .:: Vogtland Sport Suspension ::. shows more than one type of spring for the fit, but the links don't seem to be working properly right now so i can't pull up any of them other than the sport lowering springs. (maybe that means they don't have the other ones for the fit? i dunno). the website you're looking at is that of an "authorized vogtland dealer."

the rear being that high would make a lot more sense if it was the car audio springs. i think the donk springs would be a lot higher in the front than the OP's car is sitting.

Vogtland Springs

I just put on my Vogtlands and the drop in the rear was supposed to be 1.4"

It's hard to tell, but I can't get two fingers between the tire and wheel well. Of course, mine were used so they were already broken in.

i really have no clue why the springs would cause the rear to be that high.

Guys,

One word of advice don't buy Vogtland on Ebay, but from an Authorized Direct Dealer and have it professionally installed to avoid problems.

jesus christ. So my springs are fake Vogtland's? Am I in any grave danger by driving around with them for maybe 2 or 3,000 miles?

No, never said they were fake . What I'm saying, it's better to buy parts from an authorized dealer regardless the manufacture. This will insure you receive genuine parts, warranty and peace of mind for the small price you pay. In the vogtland box you will receive a German product code CD catalog and a warranty card with your springs

The rear specs are higher by 15mm. Drops are based on OEM equipment

Honda Fit | 06 - Lowering Springs | 957023 | Drop F 1.6 [in] 40 [mm] R 1.0 [in] 25 [mm] |

it's also because you're so raked so your nose dips down. but really scraping has a lot more to do with what you're driving on when you scrape than how much weight you have in the car. you can scrape going down a driveway by yourself and not scrape over a shallow dip with a full load of people in the car...unless you're talking about your tires rubbing when you say "scrape." then that would be a different story.

TrancedSailor,
First: make sure you have the corect springs installed. Each spring has an imprint
VA 957023
HA 957023
Then bring it to a suspension shop and insure you installed them correctly

Audio springs are only made for the Honda Accord and Civic (audio Part #'s ends with AK. That's why a said check the embedded part # on the springs.

I'll go out to my car soon and take a look at the imprint at least in the rear since the front is too low to get underneath lol
