Yup! I've done it with EK parts for rear, converted from drum brake type to disc brake.
Front 295mm AP Racing Brake Kit for Honda Fit with APP Brake Line.
Rear modified from EK4+pad, AEM slotted rotor 286mm diameter.

Yeah so what EK parts will i need to convert the rear to just a standard EK disc setup?

Disc
Calipar
Pads
Lines

What else? Is there a mounting point for the calipar?

ABS only applies on the front wheels with the way the Jazz is set up so changes to the rear won't have any impact on it.

Knuckle shaft for mounting the Caliper.

i really don't understand which parts you replaced
since the EK is double wishbone
and the GD is torsion bar

so you can't just use the EK trailing arm

the EG brakes are smaller

Thanks. Was it an easy conversion? I have also heard there are some problems with the length of the hand brake cable. How did you get around this and did you use a EK item or the original Jazz Fit one?

I bet the larger brakes and especially the Discs on the rear make quite a nice difference

yeah i'd love to learn how to do the rear disc with parts avail to the US market
i'll probably be doing 11" brakes in the front...and would like to maintain a good brake bias

track pads in the front with a stock rear drum...is gonna make the rear end feel really light and twitchy

Yup! The handbrake cable also must be replaced with EK part.

Did you also replace the proprotioning valve with one from the EK? I know that when rear disk conversions are done on other hondas it needs to be replaced because drum/disk run at different pressures.

Actually drum brakes require more pressure than disc brakes so you might be able to get away with the standard proportioning valve.

i know for sure front EG brake parts can be used. If i recall the hub assembly and brake rotors are the same. We had to quick source some when the Spoon fit needed some parts day before a 25hour race. ill see if i can find out EXACTLY which cross over.
