spoon sport damper & spring

I want to know if someone here is rocking this setup?
I want some feedback about the ride, the quality of the product..

I've find a good deal for it, its for a daily driver and week-end lapping like 1 time by month.

Thanks a lot!

from what i know, no one really is running this. but ben at aj's told me that the drop and ride/handling is VERY similar to the j's racing set up. (the fixed dampers that is.)

the lower bolt holes are slightly smaller on the JDM fit, so you'll have to drill these out a little larger on the Spoon front shocks.

My brother's ex's Fit got the 1st set of SPOON damper kit with T1R ver.1 springs ever available from AJR back then.

U get really good ride quality from these Showa damper setup unless u go with progressive springs like Eibach, which might be comfortable for dd but not aggressive enough for sport suspension kit. I don't think u can lower 50mm with these setup & these dampers are NOT made to do that. U should get some coilovers if u want the slammed look.

so these fixed showa damper/struts lower 50mm, from comparing to the stock shocks?

I also heard something about the spoon springs basically being the same as the tein s techs. ( i just heard this, i dont know if its true.)

TEIN S-tech springs are lower than spoon springs. SPOON springs can't lower 50mm from stock height as far as i remember.

you should, aj racing sells it for around that price.

as far as needing coilovers to go low, it depends how low you want.

check out the tr1 damper thread. there is a nice little lowered fit in there that has the tr1 dampers and tein s-techs(they lower a little more than the tr1 springs.) perfect stance imo.
