Progress RSB with hitch, is it possible?

I have a curt brand hitch installed (for my bike rack). I am wondering if it is possible to put a progress RSB on it. The hitch basically takes the place of the rear skid plate. Just let me know.

Thanks

Of course it's possible. The bar mounts to the axle, not the skid plate (actually called the rear lift bracket). The bar does not touch the body, anywhere.

i knew where it mounted just wasnt sure if it would pass over where the hitch was (concerned about the part under the car towards the front).

sweet thanks!
got another question, do you need to get an alignment once it is put on. some people are telling me yes others are saying no. i am feeling a resounding no is the answer.

Get an alignment after, I'm sure you need one anyways.

The sway bar has nothing at all to do with the alignment of the rear wheels. If you didn't need a wheel alignment before you installed the sway bar, you won't need one after.

why would i need one anyways? my tires are wearing fine, the car doesnt exhibit any signs of needing an alignment.

that is what I thought. Now to decide whether to take it somewhere to have it installed or to do it myself at a friends place. decisions decisions. can anyone give any insight into this matter? I read the install thread and it doesnt seem hard which seems kind of odd to me.

I wrote the install DIY. It is EASY- as long as you have a socket wrench set and a torque wrench. If you don't have them, buy them, install it yourself, and the money that you don't pay to a mechanic will just about cover the cost of the tools that you will have and use for the rest of your life.
