Cutting springs

alright so i cant deal with the tease of the springs and i cant afford coilcovers i realize its dangerous and not a good idea and ghetto buutttttt im gonna do it soooooo what!! so the reason im posting this thread is to get all the help i can get! so on for the questions.

so do you think i should cut the stock springs or my new eibach sportlines???

1 full coil or how much or little???

best way to make sure its secure???

anyone done thiss???

well i know if you do it right its ok... still not recomended though. my bro did the same on his beamer but I'm not sure the details of it

its a bad idea. some people do it, i wouldnt recommend it. *ive done it in the past, and the ride suuuuccckkkkeeddddd. id bounce all over the place on the freeway. like from one lane to the next

dont cut oems-- if ur baller then cut the eibachs 1 coil would be ok i've been on cut skunk2's and eibach sportlines both handle fine.. its when u cut 2 or more coils is when its starts getting sketchy..

i know its a bad idea i got that haha i know nobody recommends it but im doin as i posted befor so helpfull posts is appreciated negative is not lol thanks to all thoughts anyways...

so bistro so you got eibachs on the rears or the front?
and how much did you cut off?
how long you had them and everything straight?

i've got eibachs all around half a coil up front with cut bumpstops and a full coil in the rear with no rubber holders on the bottoms.. the car handles fine eibachs are alil more softer then the skunks though....

this my "current setup" with 195 50 15's +32


the skunks before they were cut

cut the bump stops first if you didnt do it yet but do that on the eibach like b1stro said i was on tein s techs with bump stops cut and 1 coil off the rear and i was sitting like chris (b1stro) but now im on coils so do it to it bro and find a way to get coils i did and i gots alot of bills and family to take care of

thanks for the positive comments and no i havent done it yet im doing it all tomorrow and i know i gotta save up its just a matter of time lol also ill keep you guys posted on how it goes!!

that back isnt as low as it looks its just the shade over the wheel car is dirty and pics arent great but just to show you how it went haha

its not that low drove it around tonight went over a couple speedbumps everythings straight haha i want to go lower but i wont dare cut more springs ill wait till i can afford coilcovers

well im on sportlines and youre a shit ton lower than me. i couldnt be that low on the shitty streets of utah

everyone doesnt recommend it but if you really want it do it i just couldnt afford coilcovers and didnt really care how crappy my ride was so i did it
