Color of paint for my calipers

I will be ordering pretty soon a G2 (brake paint) kit for my calipers, but not sure about what color to get... i have a SSM Fit with bronze wheels, and i was thinking about a silver/blue/bronze theme... i like silver, black and bronze because they're stealth...

just wondering if i would change to a different color scheme, so i'd like everyones opinion on which color to get...

Does anyone have pics of G2 painted calipers? would be appreciated

Black would be nice and subtle, but really on a silver car you can get away with almost anything and it will look good. Immediate runners up would be silver bronze and red, IMHO.

I was contemplating black or red for myself when I switch to cross-drilled brembos..

Instead of painting them, get them zinc coated.

Talking redredredredredredredredredredredredredredredredre

3.95 RED Krylon and a plastic trash bag w/some tape and your there. Then clear them w/ acrylic spray for protection.

woah these look absolutely hot!!! but does'nt the zinc coating act as a sacrificial layer? i.e. it rusts to protect what's underneath... like galvanizing...

silver does go with pretty much everything, it's the bronze i'm concerned with...

if you really need to go the G2 route... go black and use pads with colored backs. That should set off your setup without screaming "rice"

^well i was actually asking a question... from what i know of materials, i would think that zinc will rust, but i may be wrong... if that's the case i would definitely look into this... i think i found a company that does this kind of treatment i'll contact them soon...

But on another note, the spoon calipers look hawt! and i think this would give a nice color scheme... it would probably be a little more pricey... but worth it

Spoon color only if they are spoon calipers. Project mu color only if they are project mu calipers (not available for fit). Black, silver or zinc. Anything else is RICE and tacky, but its your car.

^thanks, that's kind of what i tought, but this would also give a nice distinctive look to the car IMO... i kinda like the color scheme it would create... i'm still undecided

if i go with turquoise i'll probably buy two duplicolor brush-on paint caliper kits (blue & yellow) and mix them to get what i want!

I think blue or red should only be on Spoon/Brembo type calipers IMHO.

I voted Black like mine =)
