Adding suspension bars; what order??

Looking to add some bars (looking at Ultra Racing) to my 2008 Fit Sport. I have already ordered Progress springs and rear swaybar.

What would be the next add to get the most improvement and next and so on..

Thanks for any help
Charles

What shocks do you have?

What wheels/tires do you have?

Both should be improved as best as possible before you worry about any sort of chassis modifications. Do you think your chassis rigidity is a limiting factor in the performance of the car right now? Why?

Because racecar? what is happening that you intend to correct with stiffer chassis? The tires and suspension will be forced to work more. So installing bars should require tire upgrade atleast. If you buy good tires you may find you don't need bars.

I REALLY want an LSD, even for my daily driver. I'd rather have that than coilovers (the two cost about the same haha). Sucks I have no idea how to install one ... some day, some day... I saw Quaife has a helical for GE and i've been interested.

Good call on that.

I'll vouch for the RSB/tire combo. Most mods are done for looks and are weak in the handling dept.

not gonna lie, i have a c pillar bar and rear strut bar. they are extremely functional, to hang up my dry cleaning and for tying grocery bags to prevent my stuff from rolling around the cargo area

Cusco did a test on their strut bars, they used a fancy tape measure and a cute Asian woman.

Either way, Solbrothers, you have a rusted up Integra and Fit. Your opinions on anything car related should be ignored.

OP, get whatever chassis bars you want, this is always going to be a two sided debate.

Ok ok buy the bars. Racecars use them. You are probably tracking your car often you probably need all the stiffness you can afford!! Forget that it'll kill comfort, greatly reduce cargo space, hang below the bottom of car, squeaking, adjusting......because my man when you hit that 30mph turn at 70mph :epic winning: oh wait sorry with average tires an average suspension in a car with little torque and every chassis brace you can fathom will only push you closer to the outside of your turn. Oooo when your done stiffining the chassis you should get a parachute for the rear!!!!

Stop being a dumb. Chassis stiffness is always a good thing, improved ride, handling, etc. If anything braces reduce squeeking.

^ yup

the c pillar bar and rear strut bar in the fit don't do much if anything... a cross brace in the rear would help however...

it's all in how and where you put bracing... more bracing doesn't necessarily = better

Op listen to mike410b he has 2 of the most legit,rare-jdm aesthetics oriented parts on his fit therefore...... I'm just a dumb that's going to try and convince you that a set of bilstein coilovers would be a better route than springs and bars, performance "feel" wise. Some cars greatly improve with bars. The fit is small and relativly stiff from the factory and wont benefit as much as say a galant would. Not a bad thing (buying bars) just not a miracle but a small piece of a greater puzzle.
