ultra rear sway bar
Hi,
i have a GD model uk spec sport,
i have lowered my car on eibachsport springs but feel the rear could do with something more so was looking at ultra racing rear sway bar..
i have been in touch with ultraracing but in talks with them they advised that the sway bar may catch on my exhaust pipework... i have an after market inox rear silencer.
I just wondered if any of you on here run ultra racing sway bars with after market exhausts and have any issues?

yeah have run searches but noone mentions any issues, but ultra racing said they cant commit to saying it will be ok, they say its where the bar will cross the exhaust pipe it could cause issue due to the larger diametre pipe work.
just dont wanna buy it find it doent fit then get stuck with it as in the UK we dont seem to have much of tuning craze for the jazz/fit so will be hard to resell the bar

I really like the UR products but sometimes you have to modify them to fit.
I have the UR front, rear, and C-pilar bars for my GD3. On the front strut I had to drill out the holes on the strut tower (on the vehicle) to put a heavier bolt set-up. The rear strut bar was a direct fit. The C-pilar was a pain. Had to remove the the seat belts and use spacer to the head liner to get that bar to work.
Good luck with the product and please follow up with the fitment if you decide to go if UR.

ended up getting a whiteline 3 point adjustable bar...
set it on the middle setting, then had full alignment, currently running eibach springs and camber bolts,
the car is now sooooo nice to drive, even on the uk's wet roads its so stable

in this page you can see a pic of it,
GD Jazz Whiteline rear anti roll bar
there are 2 u clamps that bolt the bar to the tail arm, then there are little '8'shaped brackets that bolts to the side of the strut and then the sway bar bolts to it also..
weird set up compared to what ive seen on other cars, was fiddly to fit but definatley 100% improvement in handling
