I know a lot of us on the forum have/want foglight overlays to either protect the foglights from rocks or to change color, etc. Would there be enough interest to have vendor make them for cheaper then Lamin-x or others?

I've contacted Andy at bluebatmobile.net and he said he is willing to make overlays for our fits but would like a test car in the San Diego area to make precut templates for us!

Those of us with other cars or on other forums might recognize him from other forums. Personally, I have used his products on 3 previous cars and can say nothing but fantastic things about Andy and his products.

I've seen vinyl overlays for headlights, taillights, foglights, turn signals, reverse lights, interior trim pieces, etc. In regards to taillights, you can easily see the taillights and reflector through the vinyl.

Would this be something you guys are interested in???

im interested, cause today when washing the fit i noticed i have a cracked fog light, the same one that i had to replace 6 months ago, so im def in. do you have an idea of about how much these might cost if he does make them?

Well someone, I'm assuming SD_MR_FIT, actually got in contact with him to get these made! Andy from BlueBatmobile.net is just waiting for the person to call him so we can get these things made!

 

I do not know the answer to that. I'll see what I can find out. I DO know they they are made from a high quality 7 year vinyl.

You could always put on 2 layers for more protection or deeper color though. I know the eyelids he makes that they are typically 2 layers.

I've been told that the headlights and taillights are nearly ready and I'm working with him to get the fogs done.

I'll be sure to post pics when either I get the product or when I get pics of them.

 

i gave him my oem tails. he did my led tails.


i told him some people wannado smoke and some people just want there oem all red.



i havnt meet up with him. i was suppose to meet up with him tonight, but i dont have time. i have dinner appt.


ill let him measure my fogs if he wants.

 

Please do. He thinks that the 8th gen civic's fogs are the same size. Any confirmation would be awesome.

 

it is confirmed that the civic overlays for the fogs will fit.

seems pretty easy to install, i will do a diy when i get around to it this weekend or so.
