Hello from Greece.

I have a 2005 GE3 fit (jazz here) and i i recent bought a set of used wheels from a suzuki ignis sport. They are very lightweight and supposed to be the correct offset for my fit but when i put them on i found out that the inner side of the spokes hit the front calipers. My question is how thick a spacer can i use so as not to have problems with the stock studs? I belive i can go up until 5mm? Is that correct?

I would guess, so long as you:
  • can still torque the lugs on to spec
  • center the wheel, and spacer, on the hub
it should be fine...

Finished product

It is done...

Also the new wheel with tyre is 12,9 kg. I saved 700 grams per wheel compared with the 14" i had before.
