What to look for when buying a set of used wheels?

Hello all. I am a complete noob when it comes to auto parts, so I seek advice. I am preparing to buy a set of used OEM Honda wheels from craigslist. What should I look for when I check the wheels out before buying? I kinda have an idea of how to tell if the tires have life left. Is there a way to tell if the wheels spin true or that the metal is not fatigued? Wheels are pretty expensive, so I want to avoid problems. Thanks in advance.

Specs...bore, offset, size, bolt pattern are the most obvious...as for the rest you actually have to go inspect in person and look closely at the rim's integrity for major or minor hairline fractures I guess.

If possible u can try to put the wheels on wheels balancing machine and see the rotation and the "balance weight" that has to put into the wheels. If more than 100 grams (or more, i'm not so sure) then something wrong with the wheels. If less than that and the rotation movement good, u can be sure it's good
