If a mod could create a poll that would be awesome. What do you guys think? Different styles, VIP to tuner, which would look hawtest on a SSM in a 17?

the motegi and enkies are nice but if you are going to lower your car with 17's get ready to rub.

None of those wheels are really VIP...I like the VIP style if done right with no shortcuts. I am partial to the tuner style though...Out of those rims I think the enkei FN-18 are the best...also check the enkei rpf1 in gold

the mesh wheels. most definitely so. i think all the other rims are to ugly. when choosing a rim...try to think how hard it will be to clean the rim. thats why i hate A crap load of spokes...its harder to clean. heh.

out of those, i'd probably do the last one (mesh) and run s-techs or something very low riding.

yea the mesh ones were my fav as well, not sure about the lip, but i like how they look. About cleaning, i know multi-spoke wheels are a PITA to clean, trust me i would much rather get a clean 5 spoke wheel, but with rear drums, .

kenchan: how do you think the 17s will look with GF210s? low enough?

these are also still on my possibility list:

GF's ride higher than my DF's right? You need something like S-tech
height for 17's imho... or lower.

mesh wheels aren't that hard to clean if you use the right tools...
on my wheels (other car has mesh) i use a boar's hair wheel brush with a
long handle from Griot's. just car shampoo and rinse with water,
spray PrimaHydro afterwards, wipe off with paper towel. that's all.

plus, our honda's brakes dont get nearly as dusty as euro cars in general
or j-cars running brembo's. you should see how quickly my G35C and
MINI's wheels get all dusty.

If these are on your list then there shouldn't be a probably! Those rims are sick. Are they Volk RE30s, I wouldn't think about that for a second.

wow those mesh rims on the is350 are sick. forget the re30 or whatever they are called. go mesh for sure.

i was actually thinking about the uh sportmax 006 black with the red lip once...dont really know why i didnt buy them. they are cheap, they look nice. and im a big mesh fan.

yeah either he s-techs or the df210. which ever one you pick.

i prefer s-tech...because thats what im running now.
