BF Goodrich G-force Super Sport in a 205-50-15. There going on a stock Fit sport rim. I'll post pics and a review when they come in by the end of the week!
Anyone have something they can tell me about them so I can get even more excited? Anyhting should be better than the stock Dunlops right?

I was looking at something in a 205/55-15 for the stock Sport rims. I was thinking a slightly taller tire might help with the final drive ratio at highway speeds (I have the Automatic Tranny)...
Very interested in seeing your review, is that combination going to be taller than stock, or the same?

Well acording to this site Tire size calculator
the 205-50-15 will be a 4.0" sidewall compared to the stock 4.2". Looks like the 205-55 you are looking at are a little taller yet at 4.4". I know that will make your spedo read faster than the actual, and not sure how the mileage will read. This tire in my size is quit heavy at I think 21lbs. Not sure on the stock tire weight though. Anyone?

Oh, and I also have the AT trans. On a side note the tire in question is 22lbs!
Hope it dosen't hinder performance to much. We all know there's not much to begin with! LOL I try and tell the wife that a Super charger will HELP with our MPG'S. Ha! she's a little smarter than I thought!

my wife had the regular g force sports, dunno if they are the same tire or not, but they were great. they looked good with a good tread pattern, and if the tires you got are anything like them (or better, hence the SUPER sport
) you will love them. they are not super loud, and they grip hard in the rain and are excellent in dry weather.

Well, I finall got the tires installed and first impressions were, they look cool! Immediatly on the road I noticed significant road noise over the bald stock Dunlop's. Not to mention the harsh ride they gave over the smallest of cracks. I turned all that off with the inticipation that a tire that rode THIS stiff would perform well in the corners. Wrong, even with the PSI at 48, it was noticeably not as responsive in the turns. You could feel the tire roll before you would actually start turning. I am no track enthusiast so I don't know much more than the average joe, but these "flaws" really stuck out. Snow traction is probably good enough but time will tell and hydroplaning is well.... what, we just went through water!
On a side note, the good thing is we got 41MPG on our trip to Petoskey MI from Marquette
That was with 3 people and luggage which was about 500ish LBS. That was a big relief coming from a previous 27-30mpg at home. I did drive conservitively though, taking about 20-25 sec. to hit 60 and then setting the cruse at 60. Other than that, we just drove it! I think I can justify the purchase of the Fit now. (except I can't get the '08 jetta 2.0T test drive out of my mind!) On the way back it was a different story. 32MPG!! And that was with less weight. Maybe just a bad tank of gas, who knows. All in all, If I were to go back, I may have stuck with the tires that are on our other car. (Nokian WR G2) Quiet ride, no decrease in MPG and KILLER snow traction!

205/50-15 and has a 23.1" tire diameter
205/55-15 and has a 23.9" tire diameter
23.9" is a little tall but still might fit if you use stock wheels. You might want to search for this size and see if anyone reports rubbing with a stock suspension.
Taller than stock tires will make your speedometer and odometer read lower than actual and give you higher gearing/ slower to reach higher speeds.
