Possible fix for rubbing
Possible fix for rubbing
Ground down part of the plastic inside both rear wheelwells. Not sure if you can see in the first pic, but it looked like I could see where it was probably contacting the tire over some bigger bumps. It was only happening infrequently, so I will see how it goes this week and report back.

rubbing
i have an 08 fit sport. i just put on some OZ 17 by 7 with an bfgoodrich g force tire 205/40ZR17 and when i put like 70 lbs of weight in the back and add three people my well was sitting on my rear tire. WTF and any suggestions?
I had the same problem, try a 195/40R17.

My first rims....
What size/offset did you have, and what now? I am probably going to end up with a 16x7 42mm offset, what I have now are 16x7 40mm
17x7 +42mm paired up with 205/40R17, I think the tires had a lot to do with it. Although Illusive was previously running 16x7 +42 and also had rubbing issues.
