SSR! Volk! Gram Lights! Wheel Battle

I'm having quite a dilemma deciding on what wheels to get for my SSM 08' Fit. However, I am certain as I want this setup: 16x7 +45.

I had initially planned to get Gram Lights 57M in a TA finish, but was quite dissatisfied with the quality and finish after attending the SPOCOM show on Sunday. *Also, I think I've given up on this style. I saw someone in this forum got the 57M wheels and didn't look quite so nice as these pictures by A-spec. Photoshop marketing??

I also visited the SSR booth and was quite pleased with the weight and quality of the SSR Type-C. However, I haven't found a good picture of them in gunmetal and mounted on an SSM Fit. Correction! By another FF member:

I think I've strayed away from the TA finish as its too trendy and those red lines may become annoying after a few months. So here are my choices:

SSR Type-C in Gunmetal

Volk CE28N in Gunmetal Polish or Magnesium Blue

Titanium Gunmetal?

*Not sure if these are Titanium Gunmetal or Gunmetal Polish. I'm really looking for a dark grey polished finish.

Magnesium Blue

================================================== =====================

My goal is to make my car a hybrid between these two styles:

Yep, I'm J's Racing crazy!

Planned mods are:

HKS Hypermax coilovers (really impressed by the setup by starier9801)
CBF Canards?
OEM Seibon CBF Hood
J's Racing lip in black
J's Racing GT-Wing in CBF or FRP painted black
J's Racing Front Grill painted in SM
Mugen Window Visors

Thanks for your input!

the Volk CE28N in dark grey polish would look good and match your ssm. i agree with you about the TA style/red lines, too played out and too common.

I would prolly chose the mag blue volk two noby I have see has them on anything plus the are the rarest of the group. P.S there is a white type-R up the street from me with the ta finish grams the look iight as I drive by but havent seen them up close. But I have the same color fit as you so im really giving my honest opinion

Here's a mag blue wheel on a silver car. IMO the gunmetal Volk would look better.

I think TA finishes go well with white or black, but not necessarily SM. However, I've seen this combination on a dark silver/charcoal 350Z, but that silver is much darker than SM.

I think magnesium blue might work? I've only seen this combination at car shows. This blue is also very dark... almost black at times. The blue finish is also about $40 cheaper per wheel than the titanium gunmetal finish.

Everyone forgot about the SSRs....

I guess MAGNESIUM blue is the one to get based upon these posts. If it doesn't work out, anyone willing to take them off my hands?

I'll put in the order later this week. Thx FYO!

BTW - Anyone have any good pics of a SSM Fit with CE28s (not including the J's Racing Ver.)
