Finally got some wheels

I got some nice wheels and now Im looking to throw some tires on, and i want to run 215/40/17's, what issues will I be facing on a GE8,...I know for a fact someone ha done it on a GD with slight cambering and fender roll(with a drop), Im also dropped about an inch and a half... here are the factors:

No: 2009 Fit (GE8)
wheels:17x7.5, ET45(4x100 of course)
Drop: 1.5 roughly all around...
want to run: 215/40/17's
Question: anything in the wheel well that will prevent me running a 215 width? bumper moldings, etc.?

TIA

ok wait, is your car dropped at all? I cannot remember

if not, I dont think the setup you are wanting will have any issues with rubbing/scrubbing since you are running the +45 OS.

there was that one guy who even went with a 225/40/18 with no issues, so I dont see why the 215/40/17 would be an issue at all.

it is dropped, at 1.5, I will adjust my OG post to reflect this so there is no mis-information being spread...someone ran 225/40/18 on a 7.5 ET45? was he dropped?

is my saving grace the 45ET?

i'm thinking you are gonna be fine with that setup. and yes I think the +45 OS is the key. personally with that setup, I would wrap those wheels in a 205/45/17 for an almost stretched look on the sidewall and a little more height, but thats me.

Youll rub, a lot.
The front fenders/liners and the rear 1/4 lips, rear bumper screws, and the plastic bumper clips.

this is on the GE we are talking about right? I dont know if I made that clear on my initial post.

also, Im not challenging you I just need hard facts are you basing this on an actual car/fitment?

Thanks for your input in either case.
