OffSet???

Exclamation OffSet???

alright what the hell i offset?? also i'm going to put on so 15's, how wide of a rim can i use, will 7in fit? I live in the mountains so im looking to go wider to get the most traction in those tight turns....

15x7 should work no problem. just keep your offset around +35 or above.

im running 15x7 with a +40 offset and no rubbing. if your on stock springs you could go down to +30 offset without rubbing i think.

zero offset would mean the mounting pad (surface that mounts to the rotor/drum) of the wheel is exactly in the center (of inside and outside of rim)
+38 offset would move the tire in about an inch and a half closer to the strut.
Opinions will vary some (just my humble $.02 here) but to me offsets on the GD3 less than +38 can start to look a little funny as the tire sticks out past the fender too much.
On the 09's offsets less than +42 are not for me.

I'd say 15x7 with 40 - 42 offset and 205/50x15 tires are the ticket on 09's; 42 min if 08 and prior..
