anyone ever tried those trick motorcycle tapestripes? I've been toying with slapping that on some black steelies... I have a Very early morning comute and keep thinking that the reflective tape stripes from tapeworks might give me the Tron Lightcycle look! I might try first applying some $3 a roll cheap stuff on some other wheels just to get the hang of it and sort out the best spot to ring em.

Only pic I have they really reflect much better than seen here. I had the same reasoning It's a Small car and anything to make it more visible is a +. Ebay for the stripes 15 w/shipp'n they will cut diff. width stripes this is 1/8".

Thanks Big Mike! The glow ring does look pretty spiff. Ever get hasseled by local law enforcement over that? I'm your average law abiding type, but have been hasseled by my share of cops in the past. Mostly back when my hair was long.
btw, killer verse... Isaiah is one of my fave books.

The Plasti-dip is holding up great on both bumpers and on all 4 wheels, couldn't be happier with how its worked out so far.

I bought another set of Fit Sport wheels from another member on here to get powder coated. I did this just in case I needed to fall back to the original stock color. Glad I had the extra set to paint...the Fit would have been on jack stands for almost two weeks...waiting on the rims to be powder coated. Even though it took longer than expected..it was well worth the wait....At least I think so...I still need to paint the center caps....and lug nuts.

pc should be like 50/wheel. Some places are cheaper some are more. I have had them done as low as 35/wheel

I got my stock wheels painted for winter use. A friend of a friend did them for $150, including sandblasting, primer, paint, clear, and baking. I still want to get some white Honda emblems for the center caps.

Damn that looks great! I have some 2011 Honda fit wheels on my GD3. It's blaze orange metallic, any recommendations on colors to have it powder coated?
