Konigs and brake clearance?

Hello all,

New here, but I've been doing a lot of reading. I've done several searches, but can't find an answer to my specific question.

I've got an 08 VBP Base/MT. It still has the stock 14" wheels and hubcaps. I just replaced the stock stereo and now I want to dress it up a little with some wheels. I was looking at some Konig Britelite wheels. 15X6.5 38mm offset. I think they would look good on my car, but I have been told that they may not clear the brake calipers.

Will the 15" Konig Britelites clear my calipers?
If not, will the 16X7 40mm offset clear?

I would like to stay with the 15" (1st choice) or 16" (2nd) I like the look of 17"-18" wheels, but I bought this car mainly for my 125 mile round trip work commute. The smaller wheels will let me stay with more sidewall rubber for a better ride over some pretty rough roads.

Thanks
Dave_C

Yes they will work. I have 15x6.5 Konig Quizs with 40mm offset and they clear the brakes; another member here has Britelites on their BOM but I don't know if they are the 15 or 16 inch rim.
