Unusual Snow tire problem/question:

I just picked up a set of snow tires, used and mounted on steelies, for my wife's Fit ('08 sport); they are directional Firestones snow tires on steel 14" wheels. Tires are in perfect, like-new shape.

Problem is, the two left side tires are on 14x5 wheels, and the two right side tires are on 14x5.5 wheels. That's what you get on Craigslist.

If I mount them like this, is it a huge problem? I weighed them and there's about 1 lb. difference. Should I have two of them switched so there are 5's in the back and 5.5's in the front? Or does it not matter just slap them on?

Or, should I find a pair of 5.5's to make it even?

Thanks!

Where does it say 5.5 or 5 on a steelie? I just got a set and I didn't know I have to watch for that .....

engraved on the lip, on the face. If not there, check the back.
