One ENKEI RPF1 at a time

I really want some ENKEI RPF1 black wheels. Problem is the price. Very rarely do I have 1k on me at any given time. I was thinking it might be easier to get one wheel at a time because 200 bucks in the pocket is a lot more common. lol. That way I would sort of be committing myself to finishing the rest of the wheel purchases. Has anybody ever done this? I know it might sound sort of stupid but it just seems that any time I have that amount of cash something else comes up.

Thanks for all of your thoughts on the matter!

buy the whole set at once - use some self-control to save money up haha

your money is just sitting useless in the form of an enkei wheel if you buy a wheel at a time.

you could just put it on a credit card if you feel like you can follow through and pay off the bill eventually, but it doesn't look like that'd be a good idea if "something always comes up" lol

^^ Ditto.

If you can penny up 200 a month, just pocket it or put it in the bank till you can pay for the set of wheels in full. Buying one wheel at a time could cause you to miss out on any deals on discounts be it overall price or discounted shipping. Plus as you let your cash stack up, you may be able to find a sale online somewhere and get them for a cheaper price.

Thanks for the tip angryfit, I will definitely look into that. When you get your wheels installed I would love to see them, and what you think of them.

While searching for wheels today I came across some XXR 518's. I believe these wheels should fit my stock tires. Could anyone verify if these will indeed work? I see the bolt pattern is 4x100, offset 40, wheel size 16" so I would imagine it would.

( I might be able to get these sooner than I thought. I'm cooking up another plan) muha ha ha ha.)

Or, for a few dollars more get these: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/Me...1-SF16704010-B

Being that those are 6.5 inches in width, the 185/55R16s will fit onto those wheels; but just to make it known, the OEMs won't safely fit any wheel wider than 6.5 inches though.

So the Buddy Club P1 SF's would not fit on the stock tires then, that's a bummer. Those were looking pretty sweet.

Edit: On second thought, I really think I want these Buddy Club P1 SF's. I will chance it until I get new tires. Since I'm only a few dollars short, I am probably going to pick these up next week while I can, and hold off on the other mods I had in mind.

P.S. I also got my Swift Sport Mach Spring yesterday. I can't wait to get those on the Fit.

They weigh about 9.5Lbs in 15X7 size... The stock wheels on the GD sport 17.4 Lbs... It is the absolute best thing that you can do for your car, followed by Swift Mach springs.
