Enkei J-Speed Wheels

Was wondering if this setup would work using without any fender mods.

I have been checking all sorts of threads on here and have noticed that many people either rub or do not rub which depends on multiple factors when running new rims and lowering the vehicle (rim size, offset, height of the drop).

So here is what I'm looking at for my setup for my 08 fit. Enkei J-speed 15x7 +38 with progress springs and stock shocks for the time. I don't know what size tires I would go with yet, so any recommendations or advice would be great.

You should be fine, if you rub at all it'll be on big bump or full lock

That looks like a good setup. I have been researching and reading up on so many threads on offsets and susp setups just to try to find a right setup for a DD. I do like having a lip on my wheels but I don't want to do any fender mods. I want the car lower but kinda torn with the Chicago streets being all F'ed. I think 15's would be good on progress springs. I think the springs are like a 1.5" drop front and 1.3" drop rear so it should be low enough to not have to worry to much. I'm kinda considering running 15x8 instead of 15x7. Do you think it would make much of a difference?

15x8 will be too wide and you'll be stretching a 195/205 on to it

You'll be fine in chicago.

My Integra and I'm from WI which has equally bad roads:
