They are not concidered light weight from the information I gather on this site and talking to people. I own a set of hfp honda fit rims. Each box the rims where shipped in say 18 pounds. The boxes are substantual which I beleive weigh at least one pound so, it is probley a 17 pound rim. Also you will not be able to use the cool aftermarket lug caps on these rims. There are other rims out there that can be found at the 10 pound mark.
Good Luck.
I bought the hfp rims and I dont regret it. After all they are a Honda product and will go out of production. These rims are special in there own way.

thnx for the info big_fit. i've been researching knowing rota, enkei, ssr, volk etc makes very light weight rims but not sure which would hold it's ground on value. example i could get a 16x7 racing hart cp035 for under $1400 rims alone weighting in 10.1 pounds+ or a 15x6.5 volks c28 going at 8.1 pounds for the same price.I consider myself a daily race comutter saying if the coast is clear from cops and not much traffic i'll take a corner twice as fast maybe more depending on road conditions from speed limit (35mph going 65+).i want something strong and light that can last me a few yrs w/o hitting anything so the investment is worth the $$$$$.

i think when comparing a 17lb wheel to 8lb wheel for the same price it's a no brainer.

so the HFP rims are made from enkei nice. too bad they're heavy. how's your car running on it and did you get to try something else b4 you gotten yours? I'm going to put on my friends gram light 16x7 this week and see how it feels. want to try the volks c28 15x6.5 since its so light and feel the difference.i mainly want performance instead of the looks thats why i'm stuck at 15's and 16's.

Comparing the fit I test drove to my fit with HFP wheels I can say as far as braking and accel they are about the same no noticible difference...the ride however is a teeny bit firmer with the HRP wheels but this is more likely due to the decreased sidewall height. I love them on my black fit no regrets..I may buy some Rota Slips; though, for track/summer play use.

I agree - EXCEPT with my Yoko's on the HFP 16's corners are MUCH FASTER. Wider contact patch and better compound than the GY's that came on my 15's.

I read your thread but I did not see one rim the same price as the Honda hfp rims. $260 is not the same as $150 nor is $300xx the same either.

i agree.are there any rims that worth the $$$ saying that they won't crack on you when beeing abuse only bent b/c other people experince the rim crack and cause the car going outa control w/o any posibility of saving the car. many tuners says cheap replica can crack or break easly yet the mid and hi-end rims $150+ each can withstand many road conditions and abuse.
