I have an 08 FIT Sport, manual.

Im putting 2011 sport rims on them 2 tires are good enough to get thru till next winter11,000 miles on them, (dunlops) 2 are bald and need to be replaced.

Would there be a problem with going with a different manufacture then dunlops? (dumlops r not highly regarded on this forum for as much as I've read).

I thinking of going with a totally different tire size, like say a 205/15/16 continetal Extreme contact. or Maybe Yokohama's Avids. What do you guys think this well do to the steering of the car. I well need to put just 2 tires on for this year. (I have winter tires on steel rims) then next year I'll buy 2 new of the same brand.

Last option would be to buy all four new and throw out the dunlops altogther.

BTW my driving habits, I drive like an old lady, but 3 miles out of ten I think my car can actually out corner a VETTe.LOL
